Corr Cronin Secures Release of Public Documents Wrongfully Withheld by Seattle
Corr Cronin represented reporter Dave Workman in his attempts to receive public documents related to the amount of aggregate tax collected by the City of Seattle. The City had claimed that it was not required to produce the documents, but Steven Fogg and David Edwards won summary judgment in King County Superior Court forcing the release of documents under the Public Records Act. The City will be required to produce the documents and pay attorneys’ fees and a penalty for wrongfully withholding the documents. A discussion of the Court’s order and background can be found here.
