Employment Litigation Victories
Tuesday, December 23, 2003 Corr Cronin recently had two total victories in employment litigation. In the first case, a hedge fund manager sought a bonus in excess of $500,000 based on a 456% one-year growth of the fund. Relying on a statute of frauds argument, we obtained summary judgment on all claims, which was unanimously affirmed by the Court of Appeals.
In the second case, the terminated plaintiff claimed his employment was terminated in violation of public policies. Plaintiff claimed $1 million in damages. Once again, we obtained summary judgment. Josh Preece handled both of these cases with the assistance of Nancy Le. ← Back ↑ Top
