Bill Walsh to serve as Co-Chair for the WSBA CLE on the Washington Consumer Protection Act Tuesday, August 3, 2010 Corr Cronin's Bill Walsh will serve as Co-Chair for the WSBA-CLE "A Trial Lawyer's Guide to the Washington Consumer Protection Act," August 24, 2010 at the WSBA-CLE Conference Center, 1501 Fourth Avenue, Suite 308, Seattle. Washington's Attorney General, Rob McKenna, is scheduled to provide opening remarks. The curriculum includes presentations on the Act from the public and private perspective, offering practical and insightful instruction on claims and defenses under the CPA from a trial lawyer's perspective. Bill will provide a presentation on the reasonable development of business defense, an under utilized principle based on clear legislative intent with roots in anti-trust law. Highlights are sure to include a panel discussion on causation and recent decisions. Other faculty members include:
