Practice Overview

Jeff Bone’s practice involves litigation in a variety civil and complex commercial matters in the state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as mediation and arbitration.  He has represented clients in various commercial disputes, employment and consumer class actions, employment discrimination cases, business tort cases and intellectual property disputes.

Prior to joining Corr Cronin, Jeff was an associate at Foley Hoag LLP in Boston where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and intellectual property disputes.  Jeff also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Washington Law and Politics magazine has selected Jeff as a "Rising Star" in Seattle's legal community from 2013-2016.  He is licensed to practice in Washington and Massachusetts.

Representative Cases

  • Juaire v. T-Mobile – Successfully argued motion to dismiss breach of contract case in federal district court in New Mexico claiming that T-Mobile orally promised, then breached, a contract for vendor services.
  • Shammami v. MetroPCS Michican, LLC – Successfully argued motion to dismiss and to compel arbitration in breach of contract case in federal district court in Minnesota.
  • Rey v. Rey – Obtained dismissal of complaint filed in federal district court in Washington in a sibling dispute over ownership of four different Washington corporations.
  • Burns v. Goodman Manufacturing – Represented HVAC manufacturer against claims for breach of warranty and violation of the Consumer Protection Act; successfully argued motion for summary judgment as to the CPA claim, and obtained verdict in favor of the manufacturer following a bench trial on the warranty claims.
  • Mobile Media v. T-Mobile – Represented T-Mobile in vendor dispute involving claims of breach of contract and fraud; obtained favorable settlement before a pending arbitration.
  • Employment Class Action – Represented a Fortune 500 company in Washington wage and hour class action claiming that the company was the joint employer of the class members.
  • Bojang v. Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. – Represented manufacturer of food processor in products liability action brought by consumer; successfully argued motion for partial summary judgment and obtained favorable settlement on the eve of trial.
